Every year, more than 4,500 people in Minnesota are diagnosed with breast cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re partnering with brands whose products help fund research for a cure in the hopes that someday, none of our loved ones has to face this disease. Bumble and bumble HIO Primer

It also contains UV protection to help shield hair from the sun’s drying effects. For each bottle sold, Bumble and bumble donates 50% from the purchase price to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

RevitaLash’s original lash conditioning serum was created by the company’s founder for his wife, Gayle, as she battled breast cancer. The brand’s Eternally Pink line of products support breast cancer awareness, research, and education initiatives year-round!

It is our favorite time of year at Cole’s Salon—and not just because pumpkin-spice-everything is here… It’s time for our Annual Appreciation Sale!

Our annual sale kicks off the last week of September and it is a great time of the year to stock up on all your favorite products. Purchase any product at full price and get the second identical item at 50% off!

Here are the must-have items I’m stocking up on this year.

 

First things first–foundations.

What are the foundational products you cannot live without? Think facial cleansers, shampoos, and conditioners. Those daily items that you have in your shower are the first things to stock up on. In my family, we love Bumble and bumble’s Gentle Shampoo and Super Rich Conditioner. It works well for my teenage daughter and in my hair so we take advantage of big savings and purchase liters of each for our home. I also love Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray! This is a go-to for my style, whether it adds a little volume to a fresh style or helps me restyle my hair on day two or three, I always stock up on this favorite. And I cannot forget my Image MD Cleanser. I use this daily, morning and evening as part of my skincare routine. I love having one of these cleansers in my gym bag and one in my shower at home so the CAS sale is the perfect time to purchase a few!

Next, think holiday gifts.

We all love the long summer nights and warm temps, but as cooler weather descends upon Minnesota, it reminds us that the holidays are just around the corner. Every October I make sure to stop into one of our five locations to stock up on items like Ormedic Lip Treatments and Aveda Hand Relief. These are perfect last-minute gifts for girlfriends or teachers. I also love to purchase Oribe Body Wash and Body Lotion for a unique hostess gift!

And then there’s the makeup! 

The great thing about our sale is that all Jane Iredale makeup is included, but you can mix and match colors! As long as the item is identical (think buy a lip gloss, get a lip gloss at 50%) you can save on the colors you love. I always stock up on the Hydropure Glosses with Jane Iredale for fall. I love Cosmo and Snow Berry. Everyone loves a good go-to mascara and we have a great option that includes a conditioning primer and mascara in our double-ended tube. Buy one for your purse and one for your makeup bag and you are set. You’ll find the same discount is available for nail polishes. If you have several colors you love, you can mix and match the colors for fall!

Finally, when to splurge.

The two products I love to splurge on during the sale are the MD Undereye Gel Patches from IMAGE Skincare and their Max Crème. These items are an investment, but when you can get the 2nd one at 50% off it feels like an investment that is not quite as rough on the wallet!
